Simon Fischweicher

Manager, Disclosure Services, CDP

Simon Fischweicher is the Manager of Corporate Engagement on CDP’s North America Disclosure Services Team. He manages CDP’s efforts to increase corporate disclosure of climate change, forests and water data from North American corporations. His team is responsible for providing guidance and support to over 600 disclosing companies in North America as well as companies considering disclosure for the first time. Prior to his current role at CDP he worked on CDP’s Global Initiatives team on the Commit to Action campaign, driving corporate climate commitments ahead of the Paris Agreement. Before working at CDP, he worked as a sustainability consultant. Simon holds a Masters of Business Administration in Sustainability from Bard College and a BA from Bowdoin College.

Alyson Genovese

Head of Corporate and Stakeholder Relations for the US and Canada, GRI

Alyson Genovese is GRI’s Head of Corporate and Stakeholder Relations for the United States and Canada. With thousands of reporters in over 90 countries, GRI provides the world’s most trusted and widely used standards for sustainability reporting and disclosure. Alyson leads engagement with GRI’s North American network of sustainability reporting organizations, nonprofits, academic institutions, and investment organizations. This includes management of GRI’s GOLD Community network in the US and Canada. Alyson is an accomplished professional in the corporate and nonprofit sectors with more than 20 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, public affairs and stakeholder engagement.

Bob Laux

North American Lead, International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC)

Bob Laux is the North American Lead for the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). The IIRC is a global coalition of regulators, investors, companies, standard setters, the accounting profession and NGOs promoting communication about value creation as the next step in the evolution of corporate reporting. Prior to joining the IIRC, Bob spent 16 years at Microsoft Corporation, most recently as the Treasury Controller. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2000, Bob was an Industry Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) where he was responsible for coordinating the activities of the Emerging Issues Task Force. Prior to joining the FASB, Bob spent eight years at General Motors.
