Covid-19 Vaccine Requirements & Safety at the Conference
UPDATED COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES
In keeping with our theme, Better, Bolder, Brighter, we're working to create a memorable experience for you and your team members. Part of that effort means taking steps to protect your health and safety.
After two years apart, we’re looking forward to welcoming the BCCCC community back together for an in-person Conference event. As we return to a new normal, we rely on guidance issued by state, local, and/or Boston College authorities. In line with these authorities and their most up-to-date recommendations, we have revised our COVID-19 safety protocols for the 2022 Conference event in Boston. Please note the following changes:
- While strongly recommended, vaccination will not be required (although 99% of attendees have confirmed they are vaccinated, as of 3/11/22. We will continue to track this metric via our registration attestation field.)
- Masking will not be required, but strongly encouraged for attendees who are not vaccinated, and welcome for anyone who prefers to wear a mask.
- While not required, self-testing kits will be available for all attendees.
- Use of a third-party app to show vaccination status, previously communicated to registrants, will not be required.
BCCCC continues to emphasize that attendee health and safety is our foremost priority. We are closely monitoring the pandemic as it evolves and will not hesitate to adjust safety guidelines again, if warranted.
If you have any concerns about attending the Conference, or questions about these revised policies, we encourage you to contact our team at registration@bc.edu. Thank you for your patience and understanding of evolving guidelines in the context of a shifting pandemic.
